Real-time & digital PCR

A specific genetic target.
A focused analysis.

PCR-based testing looks for predefined genetic changes. It helps address a specific clinical question, including a mutation relevant to treatment selection or associated with resistance.

Real-time PCR

Measures fluorescent signal during amplification of a selected DNA target. Our portfolio includes testing for defined mutations in EGFR, KRAS, IDH1 and IDH2.

Digital PCR

Divides a sample into thousands of microreactions. The proportion of positive reactions and statistical analysis estimate the target DNA quantity. Detection of low-frequency variants depends on the assay. Our portfolio includes selected EGFR and BRAF variants, including resistance-associated EGFR mutations.

EGFR

Lung cancer: mutations and resistance

The portfolio includes initial testing for mutations relevant to treatment and analysis of selected variants associated with resistance. The requested variant determines the assay.

KRAS

Targeted mutation testing

A focused test for selected mutations in the KRAS gene. In colorectal cancer, assessing eligibility for anti-EGFR therapy requires testing both KRAS and NRAS, with appropriate coverage of clinically relevant mutations.

IDH1 / IDH2

Testing for selected IDH mutations

Targeted analysis of defined IDH1 and IDH2 mutations when IDH status has diagnostic or therapeutic relevance. The variants examined and required sample type are confirmed before testing.

BRAF

Selected mutations by digital PCR

Digital PCR detects selected BRAF mutations. Their clinical significance is assessed in relation to the variant, tumour type and previous treatment.

Arrange the test you need.

The target

Tell us the gene and specific variant your clinician needs to investigate. We confirm that the selected assay examines the requested target.

The sample

Preserved tumour tissue (FFPE) is the main sample type in this portfolio. Other specimen types must be agreed for the selected test before collection.

Price & timing

We confirm the performing laboratory, cost and expected reporting time before testing.
